Services

Buying a home can be a stressful process. We understand that because we too went through the same experience. Part of our goal at Cozy Home Inspections is to reduce our clients concern by helping them to understand the major systems of a prospective home as well as the condition of those system.

You may have looked at several prospective homes, even several dozens perspective homes. Searching for a new home is typically a 1 to 3 month process and can involve a roller coaster of emotions for the buyer. Once you are under contract to purchase a home, a thorough home inspection is recommended and again, can help to alleviate much of the anxiety that goes along with purchasing a new home.

General Home Inspections

We offer comprehensive residential systems tests and inspections with a focus on educating our clients as to the major systems of the home. We focus on any apparent health and safety issue that may require attention and how these can be resolved.

We take pride in providing consistent, reliable work. Our goal is to look out for your personal and financial well-being and we go out of our way to accommodate any specific needs or requirements you may have.

Radon Testing

Radon is an odorless, tasteless and colorless gas this is undetectable by humans. Is is released into the air by the decay of uranium and is typically a concern in basements. At low levels radon is of limited concern to home owners, but at higher levels radon can be a dangerous carcinogen if a person is exposed to it over time. It has been said that after cigarette smoking, radon is the most common cause of lung cancer in the United States.

Fortunately, radon testing with subsequent mitigation if required, is relatively easy and inexpensive to address.

We can perform tests to assess the air quality with regard to possible levels of radon gas that might be present. If sufficient levels of radon are present that warrent mitigation, appropriate mitigation methods can be recommended as well as suggested quality contractors that can perform installation of radon mitigation systems.
